So , this morning a box arrived form Dave Main

A month or so ago I had sent him a box of weird looking MKIV cases, and said  . . . Dave I don’t know  . . . what do you think  . . ? ?

The resulting pedals are INCREDIBLE – full on Dave Main Zombie creations, just one or two of each colour combo

It’s like the dead have risen in a loud nasty fuzzy way .

Here’s the email I got explaining the situation

I made all these myself. The working title is 'Zomby Woof' ...yes, I was listening to Frank Zappa. 

In the constant search for research material, I'm forever acquiring old MKIV's

This particular one was rescued from a skip by some old dears husband some 30 years ago and sat in a shed drawer ever since.

The thing looks half rotten and is in a serious state of decay. (see image)

Does it still work? Or course is does!! Like a charm, the pots are a little icky, but not that bad considering.

Anyhuw, this little set of 12 are an ode of the epic resilience of the MKIV.

Sonically similar to 'Rosa' so a nice lush oomph in the lower midrange at full bass with a juicy soupy fuzz tone and full-bore.

All are sporting the silver can STC ASY60.The construction style/wiring is a nod and a wink to the OG Zomby.

10 are a mixture of purple and violet, two are yellow, all have DISGUSTING colour combos on the screen print!

Juicy , Soupy , Oooomphy Zombies  . . .what more could you want
