Another super small run of hybrid MK1 Tone Benders .

This is a truly special hybrid monster of a pedal that conjures up the earliest fuzz tones known to man through vintage transistors then setting then spits them out like a chaotic and destructive namesake.

 We are truly besotted by this one - another incredible creation from the depths of Dave Main’s fuzzy mind .

Here’s what he has to say :

The working title is - The Hydra. We were listening to T Rex. when ‘Get it on’ came on. We realized the lyrics to that song were kinda creepy. Any huw, We did The Griffin, so Hydra kinda works.

The germanium back end is the now legendary Mullard OC73. The circuit concept is based on the deeper and broodier sounding earlier Gary Hurst MKI's though with the output and EQ range stretched out so it's delivering a pretty robust and wide spectrum fuzz tone. It's tubby on the lows but equally open on the mids and treble, giving it a generally healthy and ample flavour
