Well at first glance its a small bodied violin bass  . . . but  . . .it's got no pick ups ! 

Ah ,, yes it has  . . it has a piezo under the bridge 

so it's an electro acoustic ?

no! not really  . . because it has minimal acoustic sound  . . . hmmm  . .

well let's hear it then 

Ah Ha !!

In conclusion , its a very cool looking , great feeling bass that sounds like an acoustic bass when its plugged in - an almost string bass sound but with a bit more  . . .zing !

It's not expensive and we can't find another one - so pretty different and pretty damn cool all round
