What an amazing find!

Just about the coolest left handed guitar ever.

A mid-sixties English Wem . Model Sapphire 3 is rare enough in itself – but a lefty????

We love having this in the shop. Charlie Watkins was a great friend of Joe and Larry Macari and even though he was a busy man, would always take my calls and answer my tedious questions about Copicat tape echos!

General condition is very good apart from the chrome plate which is pitted in places and lost a little on the tremolo arm.

Now I can’t play much left handed but even on single notes and my three left handed chords – this guitar sounds so good . . . . . and the tremolo!

The tremolo arm is a wonderful piece of engineering , smooth and springy trem arm – so simple  . . but when engaged the bridge actually tilts back and forth with the movement  - brilliant !!
