1992 Les Paul Studio

This guitar oozes Rock’n’roll attitude and looks like it belongs on stage with Guns’n’Roses!

I’m not totally sure how this guitar ended up looking like this but I can tell you it hasn’t been done through false relic techniques.

I think it’s just good honest sweat and tears, or, as the last owner told me it has been stored in a container – maybe it was months of temperature change making the finish lacquer check – or maybe it’s just spent some time in Hell being played by demons!!!!!

All I can say is we spend a vast amount of money trying to make guitars look and feel like this but this one is real!

It would have begun its life on 3 March 1992 as a rather pretty but slightly ostentatious Black and Gold Les Paul studio  . Over time it seems to have become possessed – taken on a life and character of its own and become the coolest looking Les Paul Studio that ever existed .

It appears to be totally stock – so black and gold like a les paul custom ,  Gibson 498T humbuckers like a Les Paul Custom , heavy non- weight relieved body like a Les paul Custom , crazy mojo like a Les Paul Custom but nowhere near the price of a Les Paul Custom  . . if only it had an ebony fingerboard  . .. . . .hang on   . . . . . no . . .surely not  . . .yes an ebony fingerboard  . . . like a Les paul Custom  . . .crazy !
