Such a cool guitar

This is the first series Hofner Verithin , with the violin bass type control panel so is c 1961

The Verithin ( which is actually very thin ! ) was Hofner’s answer to the Gibson 330 and Epiphone Casino and this guitar oozes those hollow body thinline vibes.

Beautifully faded cherry , Incredibly light – the whole guitar weighs about 5 lbs and is really well balanced not only in feel but in sound . The bridge pick up full of incredibly sweet rock and roll treble bite and the neck almost tele-like acousticness.

The Bigsby is bouncy and not at all floppy adding even more rock and roll.

In short , this is a lovely vintage guitar that would be at home in your lounge or on stage with an Indie band – it just rocks to high heaven !
